Reservations at Ian Anderson's Caves Branch Adventure Co and Jungle Lodge

RESERVATIONS can be made by phone, fax or by email. Once a reservation is made, we will hold that reservation for 3 weeks. During that time we ask that you sent to us a deposit covering 50% of your booking. If a deposit is not received within the 3 week period, the blocked accommodations will be released.

DEPOSITS can be made once you have received an invoice from us detailing your charges and the deposit amount, which is 50% of your total booking. We do accept credit cards (Visa/Mastercard) and we can send you a credit card form along with your invoice so that you can send in your information for immediate deposit. The deposit can be made in the form of a personal check in US dollars or bank draft in US dollars. If you plan on sending us a deposit by either of these two payment methods, please let us know as regular ground mail takes about 3 weeks to arrive at our office.

We now accept credit cards at the lodge for payment of your invoice balance, trips, rooms and other services. When you make your reservation, we will send you a credit card form which you will need to fill out and return to us by fax. We do accept credit information over the phone but we ask that you first contact us by email in order to get an invoice from us to know how much your deposit amount will be. When you check out, we also accept credit card payment for additional charges. We do not accept American Express cards or Discovery cards.

CANCELLATIONS must be received in writing. Cancellations 60 days or more before arrival, 100% refund less $100.00US processing fee. 60-45 days in advance of arrival, 50% refund less $100.00 processing fee. 44 days or less before arrival, no refund. Caves Branch cannot be held responsible or liable for trip cancellations or altered itineraries due to reasons out of our control.

It is highly recommended that you purchase travel insurance for all bookings done in Belize (see next section).

TRAVEL INSURANCE is recommended if you are concerned about financial loss due to your late cancellation. We do not sell travel insurance ourselves, however, you can call Travel Guard at (800) 826-1300, or visit their website: www.travelguard.com. Note that trip insurance has to be booked within 7 days of purchasing the trip in order to cover pre-existing medical conditions.

GUARANTEE OF PARTICIPATION on any expeditions cannot be made in advance for any person even if they have made a reservation and or made a deposit or made payment in full for any activity. Caves Branch Jungle Lodge, the management and their staff have the right to refuse participation of any person at any time for any reason due to their concern that the person's fitness or actions might put that person, or others, in harm's way. All decisions are final and not arbitrated. Our concern for your safety is our primary mandate. Alternative activities will be recommended or if you prefer, payments made to Caves Branch will be refunded in full if we feel that it would be better for your safety if you did not participate on a specific trip.
