“Beach, snorkeling, caving, hikes in rain forest, amazing botanical gardens, birding (we saw TOUCANS!). A wonderful pool and hot tub for relaxing after your day's adventures and great food.”
The guides were well-informed, polite and very knowledgeable; these folks MADE the adventures wonderful by keeping it safe and fun and so willing to teach about their surroundings!
My 20-something daughter and I (ok, I'm 60) travelled in the 'off season' and sometimes were the only 2 on the trip. I am in so-so shape after 2 years of doctoral work, and I felt the pace and effort was easy for me to handle.
In our free time we walked to the end of the property to view the "Blue Hole" which was more like a blue lagoon. Peaceful, relaxing and a fun swimming hole.
We stayed in the cabana or was it the bungalow? Whatever, it was spacious, clean (okay, one gecko) and a bathroom that rivaled the Phoenician in AZ! We checked out the treehouses (yes, a tree growing inside of each one!) and will stay in one of these on our next visit.
I will return again to see all that I missed.”
