Time and time again we’ve and frequently asked questions about when is an appropriate time to come to Belize on an adventure vacation or a honeymoon or even a family vacation. Our guests want to know the optimal time to do each of the Adventure tours.
We’ve put together the following information that informs you about each of the different tours that has certain restrictions as it pertains to the weather in Belize or other details affecting the tour date. If a tour is not mentioned here it may be because it does not have any restrictions. Contact us to be sure.
In Alphabetical Order by names of tours:
- Black Hole Drop – available all year, but during the rainy season, be prepared to get muddy.
- Diving the Barrier Reef – offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
- Lost World Cave Tour – This cave is a dry cave, there is no cave tubing. If you are not up to long hikes or strenuous activities, then we do not recommend this activity to you.
- Overnight Caving Expeditions – done by trekking, not cave tubing. It is not affected by high water levels during the rainy season.
- River Cave Expedition – subject to high water levels from time to time throughout the year. Only one day notice of cancellation is possible.
- “River of Caves” Cave Tubing – subject to both high and low water levels from time to time throughout the year. Only one day notice to cancellations is possible. During dry months (usually February to June), this trip is not offered.
- Snorkeling Day Trips – offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
- Tube Float & Zip Line – subject to both high and low water levels from time to time throughout the year. Only one day notice to cancellations is possible. During dry months of February to June, this trip is not offered. Zip line can be booked during those dates as an individual day trip.
- Waterfall Cave Expedition – subject to high water levels from time to time throughout the year. Only one day notice of cancellation is possible. This is a very demanding adventure.
