If you love the gift of giving, you will love the new Caves Branch initiative of including our guests in giving back to the local village community of Armenia. Armenia is located just north of Ian Anderson’s Caves Branch, on the Hummingbird Highway. If you arrive at Caves Branch from the airport you will pass through the quaint village on the way to the Caves Branch Welcome Center. Since the lodge has opened the Armenia government school has seen over two generations of children whose parents have worked at the lodge. The vast majority of our Caves Branch staff has always come from the village of Armenia, providing the Armenia Government with over two decades of children from the village.
The Armenia Government School has approximately 420 students ranging from the age of 4-13.
The Pack for a Purpose program allows YOU, our guests an opportunity to donate school supplies to the classrooms to the local Armenia Government School. Once you arrive to Caves Branch, we will be happy ensure your donation goes directly to the school for you! The catch is as easy as saving just a little space in your suitcase! How easy is that???
We are very excited to be able to help others give back. We will be happy to update you on what supplies are required at the school and in turn you will get a smile of a life time back. What may be something small as a band aid, pens, and pencils, would make a big difference to those who need it the most. And, best of all, you have enriched your vacation, which now automatically becomes one of the sweetest journeys you’ll ever make!
