The adventures below are best experienced as part of our all-inclusive packages but can also be booked individually. Individual tours (without a package) must be booked ahead of time. If you book a package, one of our friendly guides will meet with you when you arrive and answer your questions and help you decide which tours are best for you. Horseback Riding

Following your ride, indulge in a delectable hot lunch (lunch is available at an additional cost). The tour concludes around 12 pm, allowing ample time for lunch before returning to Caves Branch Lodge by approximately 2 pm.

Zipline Aerial Adventure
INTENSITY LEVEL:
Moderate
Ziplining is as close as you can get to flying over the jungle. Experience a bird’s-eye view of the Belizean rainforest as you soar from tree to tree crossing over rivers and valleys on this amazing adventure.
You will be securely fastened to a harness that is attached to a cable by expert guides & platform directors.
If you’re not comfortable with heights, this may not be the tour for you…but if you’re ready for some high flying excitement, you will LOVE this tour!

River of Caves 7 mile Cave Tubing
(with optional Ziplining)

This is where it all started! Ian Anderson’s first and still Belize’s longest and most spectacular “River of Caves” cave tubing float…over 7 miles underground.
Enter the exciting world of rivers disappearing into the underworld as you float on inner tubes with only your headlamp to light your way. Swirl around stalagmites jutting from the river and stalactites looming from above. Float past underground waterfalls then into the crystal cathedral, a spiritual center to the ancient Maya.
Belize Zoo & Ziplining Combination
INTENSITY LEVEL:
Moderate
A visit to the Belize Zoo is an excellent introduction to the animals of Belize and the importance of protecting their natural habitats. The zoo encompasses 29 acres of tropical savannah and exhibits over 125 animals all native to Belize. The animals at the zoo were orphaned, rehabilitated, born at the zoo, or sent to the Belize Zoo as gifts from other zoological institutes. The Belize Zoo is located about 40 minutes from Caves Branch Lodge.
Enjoy a delicious lunch (not included) and then head off for some high-flying zipline adventures.
Once you have completed the zipline adventure, your van will bring you back to the lodge for a relaxing afternoon at the pool or in the hot tub.
Intensity Level:
(3 of 5 sweat drops) Moderate – The zoo grounds have walking trails. The zipline area also has trails to the starting platform. From there it is only zipping through the rainforest while connected to lines. Very little hiking is involved.

Mandatory Items to Bring:
Comfortable light weight shorts and shirt that allow for movement and can get wet. Well treaded sneakers or hiking boots, and mosquito repellent. Sun hat & shades as well as sunscreen is also recommended.

“Ziplines- very fun but best to be done combined with another activity.
Horseback Riding – our favorite trail ride ever. We arrived at the ranch by crossing the river on a boat that was sent for us. Once on our horses, our kids loved that they were able to go completely on their own for 2.5- 3 hours! We went through beautiful scenery, up and down hills on the trail and even into the river.”
